The Senior team manager has played for the club for several years now. Last year was the Mayo man's first crack at management and it was a successful start. Lets hope he can lead the team to even more success this year.

 Mick Treacy -  Age:     Position: Centre Half Forward        Occupation: Groundworker   

The club captain is one of the club's founding members, and is something of a stalwart. As a target man in the forwards he leads the team well, and he doesn't miss much either (especially not in the bar afterwards), all in all not bad for a Roscommon man.

 Alex Appleton -  Age: 34    Position: Half Back        Occupation: Professional PAIN IN THE ARSE!

The Boro boy is unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) moving back up north. The banter and commitment will be sorely missed by all the lads. 

 Joe O'Sullivan -  Age:     Position: Corner Back        Occupation:

Joe is something of a utility player, his flexibility allows him to play either in attack or defense. This year he'll no doubt be fighting to make a starting place his own.

 James  Merrigan -  Age:30     Position: Corner Back       Occupation: Builder/Groundworker

If games were won in the pub the night before the game, James would be our best player! Having played with the club for several years, he always gives his all for the team, and is a natural defender.

 Mark Naylor -  Age: 34    Position: Corner Back/Full Back    Occupation: Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Mark is a solid dependable defender. Having had a few great games at full back last season, Mark will be hoping to make a starting place his own this year.

 Liam McGreevy -  Age: 29     Position: Half Back/Half Forward    Occupation: Sales Rep

2008 was Liam's first year with the club, he managed a few scores from the half forward line, and defended well in the half backs. It has been said that Liam 'turns like a bag of cement', says it all really!

 Paul Armstrong -  Age: 30    Position: Midfield          Occupation: Personal Trainer

Paul was new to the club in 2008 also, and is the engine of the team, his work rate in midfield is priceless, often driving the team forward from the back. It's just a shame he's from Derry, oh well, we all have our cross to bear!

 Kevin Wynne -  Age:     Position: Full Back/Half Forward    Occupation: Groundworker

Kevin is a club stalwart, and playing mostly in half forward last year he racked up a lot of scores. Lets hope he continues to be a force in 2009. Just don't expect him to track back......or forward.....or anywhere for that matter!

 Steve Pugh -  Age: 28    Position: Midfield          Occupation: Insurance Branch Manager

Pepperami is the height in the Gaels midfield. You would think his long legs would carry him far, but surprisingly not! A safe pair of hands developed as a soccer goalkeeper, his ball winning ability is essential.

 Neil Merrigan -  Age:     Position: Full Back/Midfield/Goalkeeper  Occupation:

Mezza is one of the original members of the club, and his versatility is vital to the team. Whether in goals, defense or midfield he always brings something to the team. I can't quite put my finger on what it is......

 Raymond Wynne -  Age: 23    Position: Half Forward   Occupation: Architectural Technician

Ray is one of our more skillfull forwards, and the team rely on him for his hard work and scores from the half forward line. He even tracks back occasionally, which is optional for our half forward line!!

 Steve Potts -  Age: 30    Position: Corner Forward      Occupation: Sales Rep

The Sasquatch is always a handful in the full forward line, and although 2008 was his first year, he manages to chip in with his share of scores. Defenders know they've been in a game when they've been marking him. Just be careful how you look at him, if he catches you looking at him the wrong way! Well....

 Leigh Colledge -  Age:     Position: Corner Forward  Occupation: Assistant Site Manager

Leigh has been with the club for 4 years now, and seems to have the knack of popping up in the right place at the right time in front of goal. He doesn't mind putting his body on the line for the team as you can see from his photo (actually that was an accidental clash of heads....he did his best to pull out of it!)

 Enda Coughlan -  Age: 24     Position: Half Back       Occupation: Architectural Technician

2009 is Enda's first year with the club. The Meath man previously played Senior football with Roger Casements in Coventry a couple of years ago and is keen hurler, he will be more than capable of having an impact at the club.

 John O'Brien -  Age:     Position: Half Back/Corner Back  Occupation:

John has been with the club for several years now, but unfortunately he missed lots of 2008 with ankle injuries. Hopefully '09 will see a few more appearances.

 Wayne Kavanagh -  Age: 24    Position: Half Forward    Occupation: Logistician

2008 was Wayne's first year with the club too, and he only made 2 appearances in the league. He did however score two goals in the last league game to help us win the league.

 Mark Traynor -  Age:     Position: Corner Back/Half Forward  Occupation:

Mark missed the second half of last season with injuries. His natural ball carrying ability and fitness make him a valuable asset to the team.

Alan played for the club a couple of seasons ago, but unfortunately missed out on last seasons success. He's back playing for us again this season and will be a big help stepping up to Intermediate.

 Tom Coy -  Age: 18      Position: Forward             Occupation: Student

Tom was our Junior Player of the Year for 2008. As he is now old enough to be playing Senior Football, we hope to be seeing a lot of him. He has shown good potential in front of goal, which is surprising as I didn't think he could see past his hair!!

What he lacks in pace the veteran corner back makes up for with experience, and I know what you're thinking, he must have a lot of experience!! A former player of the year, the only time Mick is quick is when it comes to giving people a peice of his mind.

Sean Quigley - Age:Unknown  Position:Corner Forward  Occupation:Publican/Tourist Board Rep   

The club chairman is one of the founding members. Despite his years he is occasionally forced into action, and still manages to do himself justice. He also owns the pub that sponsors the team kit.

 Paul McGrath -  Age: 46    Position: Corner Back           Occupation: Truck Driver  

As you can tell from the picture it's not the Man Utd and Aston Villa legend, however retirement and drinking may be the only things they do have in common! Paul is a good defender, and has even stepped up to referee on occasion, which lets face it is a thankless task....the abuse! But I suppose if it weren't for the dodgy decisions.....

 Liam O'Reilly -  Age:     Position: Half Forward             Occupation:

Being a decent soccer player, Liam isn't always able to commit to the club, but always manages to make the occasional appearence when he's needed.
